2011 Necropolis: City of Perpetual Darkness-Dark Terrors

Description:
Guests enter the abandoned factory known as DARK TERRORS to be greeted by the last remaining scientist conducting his sinister experiments. The power drain of his experiment causes the entire factory to go dark. Guests are then given a special DARK TERRORS flashlight to continue their tour. What guests soon realize it that the DARK TERROR’S flashlights are actually controlled by us. We can make them go off, dim or strobe at the most inconvenient times…or is that the most appropriate times… only to turn them back on until the next effect.!! All sense of security quickly vanishes.

The Review
Haunted Reviewer says ...:

The location was not easy to find. There was one small sign that pointed us in the correct direction. The building really doesn't really look like an old electrical plant. Parking would definitely be a hassle when they get busier. There was a man to point you in the direction to park, but you were on your own from there. Very little space and leaving the place was difficult because there was no clear exit. There is the option for the combo ticket (all three attractions ) or just Necropolis. If you wanted to do one of the other two, you MUST buy the combo. When you come out of Necropolis, there is a booth where you can add the next two attractions to your ticket, which is nice if you change your mind. You have to go in the order of Necropolis, Zombie Inn and then Dark Terrors...they do not let you choose. This could cause a very long line when they get busier.

Dark Terrors: You are dropped into the room of a mad scientist in Dark Terrors. His quirky humorous craziness keeps you company while you stand in line. Then, one person in each group receives a flashlight that was controlled by the attraction personnel. The flashlight flickered off and on, but nothing really happened. You would expect someone to scare you when the flashlight stopped working, but there was nothing. Other than the one "laboratory," there were not many props...just boxes scattered and a couple monsters jumping out here and there. Haunted Reviewer rates this attraction a 6 out of 10.The flashlight idea is great but needs improvement..
